One-Time Income/Loss of Untaxed Benefit In 2019

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I have experienced a one-time income/loss of untaxed benefit: In 2019, you and/or your parent(s) received a one-time source of income such as: inheritance, moving expense allowance, back-year social security payments, severance pay package, IRA distribution or an untaxed income benefit such as child support or SSI has ceased or been reduced. I can provide the following required documentation to support this request.

Documents required:

  • 2021 – 2022 V1 Verification Worksheet, 2019 and 2020 IRS Tax Transcripts for both student and parents
  • 2019 and 2020 W-2s for both student and/or parent if a tax return was not filed

Unusual High Out-Of-Pocket Medical/Dental Expenses (2019 or 2020) Not Covered by Insurance

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I have experienced unusually high out-of-pocket medical/dental expenses: In 2019 or 2020, you and/or your parent(s) had unusually high medical expenses. Health insurance premiums can only be counted if they are not pre-tax. Bills paid with a health savings account cannot be counted as they have already reduced the AGI. Over the counter medicine cannot be included either. I can provide the following required documentation to support this request.

Documents required:

  • A letter detailing out of pocket expenses for either 2019 or 2020, not both years.
  • Documentation from insurance company showing how much was paid out of pocket for the year in question
