Faculty and staff holiday luncheon hosted by President Felecia M. Nave on Thursday, December 17, 2020
On Thursday, December 17, 2020, President Felecia M. Nave hosted the annual faculty and staff holiday luncheon in the Dr. Clinton Bristow Jr. Dining Facility. Although it looked a little different this year with social distancing, faculty and staff were able to stop by the dining facility to pick up delightfully prepared lunches.
Mrs. Karen Shedrick distributed gifts from the president and in the joyous spirit of the holiday, she was cheerfully assisted by Dr. Ontario Wooden, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, and Dr. Tracy Cook, vice president for student affairs. Faculty and staff were greeted at the front door with a smile by Ms. Cassandra Stewart.
“With the year coming to a close, I want to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and to thank each person for their steadfast commitment to providing our extraordinary students a transformational experience in the face of significant challenges,” said Dr. Nave. “The pandemic has touched everyone and I am grateful for the resiliency and courage of the Alcorn community. I look forward in the hope of the season and the promise that comes with a new year.”
