Judith Ann Rush releases second book, “My Testimony of God’s Love and Mercy: God Speaks To Me Through Poetry”

One Alcorn State University alumna is inspiring others with her poetry.

Judith Ann Rush, who earned a bachelor’s degree in secretarial science in 1981 recently wrote and published her second self-help book titled, “My Testimony of God’s Love and Mercy: God Speaks To Me Through Poetry.” The text of poems chronicles how Rush managed to overcome challenges in her life with faith and spirituality. 

Being a witness of the works of faith is what pushes Rush to continue to motivate others in their time of crisis.

“The reason why self-help books like my own are good for society is that it gives you the opportunity to share with others how you overcome trials and tribulations with the help of God,” said Rush. 

Rush hopes also to encourage others to embrace and use love as a tool for unity.

“The message I hope to portray with my spiritual poems is that love conquers all.”
