Rodrick Patterson explores career in real estate with new position
Navigating through the real estate world is the latest venture for one Alcorn State University alumnus.
Rodrick Patterson, who’s pursuing a career as a real estate investor, owns The Triangle of Luxury, LLC, a real estate investment business located in Brandon, Mississippi. Patterson’s business buys wholesale investment properties and offers them to other investors at wholesale price. The business also purchases and rehabs homes with the intent to rent, provides professional management to help manage qualified property and much more.
The hard work that comes with owning a business is a task that Patterson is will to take on. Although he acknowledges the challenges, he said that he’s ready to take them head on to achieve success.
“Having a business feels good,” said Patterson. “It comes down to how much work you are willing to put in, sleep you are willing to miss, or how willing you are to expand yourself with the resources you have. I am grateful to have the opportunity, vision, and faith to act on accomplishing my goal.”
Patterson’s position gives him space to run things at his own pace. His career as an investor straightens his management skills.
“Being an investor is by far the best rout for me because technically, I am my own boss. When you’re an investor, you are in control of your purchases, how you dress, your work hours, and it provides flexibility you need to do other things. You are able to build your own brand.”
