Alcorn highest ranked HBCU, lone Mississippi university ranked on College Consensus’ 100 Most Affordable Colleges & University list for 2018
Alcorn State University is being acknowledged as one of the nation's quality universities with reasonable tuition.
Alcorn is ranked sixth on College Consensus' 100 Most Affordable Colleges & Universities list for 2018. The University is the highest ranked historically black college or university, and it is also the highest ranked university from the state of Mississippi.
Interim President, Dr. Donzell Lee said that the ranking is a testament to the University's commitment to servicing its students.
"We have worked hard to provide an exceptional education that is affordable for all students, so it gives me great pride to know that we are succeeding at our mission," said Lee. "Our goal is to provide students with the resources to acquire the knowledge necessary for their development while eliminating the stress of searching for funds to support their endeavors."
