Alcorn School of Nursing named on Nursing Degrees’ Best Nursing Schools in Mississippi list
Alcorn State University's School of Nursing is being recognized as one of the state's top nursing schools.
The School is ranked number seven on Nursing Degrees' Best Nursing Schools in Mississippi list. The ranking shows that the School scored a 92 percent rate in financial aid awarded to undergraduate students. It also showed the School's 71 percent undergraduate retention rate and an undergraduate graduation rate of 31 percent.
The purpose of the list is to help prospective nurses make an educated decision on a nursing school in Mississippi. One ranking is for undergraduates while the other one is intended for graduates. To create the rankings, the website used data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System.
