Alcorn's campus to close due to inclement weather
In anticipation of extremely inclement weather, Alcorn State University will close all of its campuses in Lorman, Vicksburg, and Natchez beginning at noon today, Thursday, April 18.
Student, staff, and faculty safety is paramount, as the Alcorn community is encouraged to exercise extreme caution in their activities this afternoon. Essential evening shift employees should check with their supervisors regarding previously scheduled activities. Students should check Canvas and their emails for notices from faculty.
Alcorn will continue to monitor weather conditions and communicate updates through official university channels including email, web and social media.
