Workshop Schedule for Fall 2012 & Spring 2013
Below are the scheduled workshops for the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semesters.* Further below you will find brief descriptions for each workshop. To register for a workshop, please call the CITS main office at 601-877-6182.
Please note that due to limited physical space, only 10 seats will be available for each workshop taking place in the Banner Training Lab on the Lorman campus, only 9 seats will be available for the Cherry Street Office location, and only 15 seats will be available for each workshop in the School of Nursing (SON) Computer Lab location.

Blackboard Basics - The basics of
Blackboard usage is covered in this workshop. This includes: logging into
Blackboard, accessing courses, making courses available, uploading syllabus
& course documents, creating assignments, and making a simple test.
Blackboard Advanced - The advanced
workshop for Blackboard covers some of the more advanced features of
Blackboard, including: adaptive release, course menu
manipulation, using groups, grading with groups, messages versus email, and
more. It is assumed that the user attending this session is already familiar
with the basics of Blackboard.
