Master of Science in Biology Online
Applicants must present a transcript that verifies a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. Once an applicant completes an admission application, progress of materials submission can be tracked in the applicant’s Status Page. Materials submitted by the student, as specified in this guidance, must be legible for processing.
Required Materials
- Completion of ASU Graduate Application
- Official transcripts from all accredited institutions attended
- Two letters of recommendation (letters are not accepted from relatives of the applicant); academic letters accepted only
Submission of Materials
All application materials must be submitted by the application deadline for fall, spring, or summer application deadline to receive priority consideration.
Documents Submission
Official transcripts must be requested from the accredited university and cannot be submitted by students.
Letters of recommendation must be submitted by the reference. Letters uploaded by the applicant are not acceptable. The required letters must be academic, meaning they must be submitted by instructors who have taught you and can speak to your academic potential for graduate school.

- Complete the degree in 6 semesters
