The following are admissions deadlines applied by the Office of Graduate Studies at Alcorn State University; therefore, all applicants, both domestic and international prospective students applying for admission should adhere to the application deadlines before submitting your application.

Application materials must be completed to be considered for admission by the published deadlines

International Applicants

All international applicants intending to enroll with VISA types F should plan to start the application process at least six months before the beginning of the term in which they are seeking admission. This will allow timely submission of application materials before the published deadlines and application for review for admission decisions. Adhering to these deadlines will also allow sufficient time to complete international processes related to admission and arrival in the U.S. at least 30 days before the term begins. International applicants are encouraged to contact the Office of Graduate Studies for more information regarding application timelines.

 Application Fee Payment

After completing your application, you will see instructions to pay the non-refundable application fee with a credit or debit card via a secure payment portal in Slate. The application fee must be paid in a timely manner following submission of the admission application.
