Doctor of Nursing Practice
Applicants must present a transcript that verifies a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. Once an applicant completes an admission application, progress of materials submission can be tracked in the applicant’s Status Page. Materials submitted by the student, as specified in this guidance, must be legible for processing.
Required Materials
- Completion of ASU Graduate Application
- Official transcripts from all accredited institutions attended
- Three letters of recommendation: 1 Professional, 1 Academic, and 1 Personal on letterhead and must include a date and live signature of the reference
- Nursing license
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Personal Statement of Professional Goals
- Immunization Record must show two doses of the MMR Vaccine, Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
Submission of Materials
All application materials must be submitted by the application deadline of June 15 for the fall start date to receive priority consideration.
Additional Requirements
- Admission requirement also requires the applicant to participate in an interview (In-Person or Virtual). The admission committee will contact applicants to arrange this interview after all materials have been submitted.
Documents Submission
Official transcripts must be requested from the accredited university and cannot be submitted by students.
Letters of recommendation must be submitted by the reference. Letters uploaded by the applicant are not acceptable. Letters are not accepted from relatives of the applicant.

- Face to Face and Online classes
- Thesis and Non-Thesis option
- Complete the degree in 6 semesters
Application Fee
$40 application fee assessed for domestic applicants and $60 application fee assessed for international applicants
