Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On October 13, 2016, the Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers Policy Research Center held a ribbon cutting ceremony. Held in the Biotechnology Building on Alcorn State University's main campus in Lorman, MS, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony included guests from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Alcorn State University faculty and staff, community leaders, politicians, farmers, ranchers, and community members. During the ceremony, Congressman Bennie Thompson shared a powerful message about the origin of the policy center and how everyone can contribute to its success.
