Rocket Mortgage® faces challenges head-on with determination and a sharp focus – converting ideas into actions. What started as a small company in the suburbs of Detroit 35 years ago has blossomed into the country’s largest mortgage lender — one that has led the digital transformation of the industry with bringing the process online with Rocket Mortgage®. We’re insistently different in how we look at the world and the opportunities we offer our team members.

Not your typical destination employer

That’s because of the range of industries that the Rock Family of Companies – of which Rocket Mortgage® is part of — is involved in outside of mortgages, including: sports, fintech, sneakers, real estate, technology and more. Our mission is to empower team members to discover and deliver solutions that will make life radically simple for all. That’s why we’re committed to an inclusive workplace, where every voice is heard, and all team members can have access and opportunity to grow their skills and become the very best versions of themselves.

We are powered by purpose.

With a mission that extends out beyond our walls and right into the communities we call home, from Detroit to Cleveland, Charlotte, Phoenix and San Diego. We don’t just volunteer, we invest in ways that impact the world around us and are supported by an inspirational, transparent and progressive leadership team who foster this For More Than ProfitSM vision. In 2019, teams across the Rock FOC volunteered 400,000 hours in Detroit and 725,000 hours nationwide. Additionally, our teams donated $200 million directly to community organizations and programming.

Driving the business by driving the culture

A career here ensures you’re taken care of in and outside of the office. Our 19 philosophies, called ISMs, give us the competitive edge for success. They are our magic dust, our DNA and our compass. We introduce these philosophies to everyone on day one because, although what we do and how we do it may constantly evolve, who we are will never change. Our culture is fueled by an environment that’s innovative, friendly, open, creative and transformational. We say that we’re obsessed, but it’s more than that – it’s our purpose and guiding light. Finding a better way is the only way. We’re in the business of helping you find your voice and bring your ideas to life. Your individuality and authenticity are not just welcomed, it’s preferred. There are opportunities within all of our companies that will empower you to experience a career in a way that helps you fulfill your passion.
