First Year Experience Program holds Finding Your Place Workshop

The Office of First Year Experience hosted a Finding Your Place/Connecting with Others Workshop on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, in the Math and Science auditorium.

Mr. Harold Spencer, academic advisor in the Newtie J. Boyd Academic Student Support Center, was the presenter for the workshop.

“The workshop was designed to help provide first year students with ways to seek balance and stay connected inside and outside of the classroom,” stated Dr. Patricia White, director of the First Year Experience Program.

Dr. Edward Vaughn is the director of the Newtie J. Boyd Academic Student Support Center and Roderick Martin is the counselor for the First Year Experience Program.
