Kalvin Robinson ’97 elected to MHSAA Executive Board for District Six
Alcorn alumnus Kalvin Robinson has been elected to the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Executive Board for District Six for 2011-2015.
Robinson serves as the assistant principal at Northwest Rankin High School (NWR) in Flowood, Mississippi. Before assuming his current position, Robinson also held the duties of teacher and coach at Jim Hill High School and Clinton High School.
Robinson earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Alcorn State University in 1995 and 1997, respectively. In addition, he earned an education specialist degree from Jackson State University in 2003.
Robinson lettered in football from 1992-1995 and was named an All-SWAC Football Player and Most Valuable Player of the 1995 Team.
He is currently a member of the Metro-Jackson ASU Alumni Association, where he holds the position of vice president. Robinson is a member of the A-Club, National Association of Secondary School Principals, Mississippi Association of Secondary School Principals, and a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
