Alcorn to host workshop for Mississippi farmers
The Alcorn State University Small Farm Outreach Training and Technical Assistance Project will host a “Saving Mississippi Farmers” workshop, Monday, April 22, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at the ASU Vicksburg Expansion Office, 1514 Cherry Street, Vicksburg, Mississippi.
The workshop is co-sponsored by the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). The purpose of the workshop is to raise awareness of programs available through Alcorn and the USDA. Benefits and qualifications for various FSA and NRCS programs will also be discussed.
