Alcorn Concert Choir to perform at Rose Hill Baptist Church

The Alcorn State University Concert Choir, under the direction of Ms. Donna Schaffer, will perform at the Rose Hill Baptist Church, Madison Street, Natchez, Mississippi, Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 7 p.m. The program will feature Theodore DuBois “Seven Last Words of Christ” along with spiritual and gospel selections. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Concert Choir at Alcorn State University consists of talented students from across the globe. The Choir is proud to incorporate a wide range of styles in their programming and perform frequently throughout Mississippi and the surrounding region. Community service, worship, and a true passion for the art are among the many things that drive the musicians that make up the Choir. Graduates of the Department of Fine Arts at Alcorn have gone on to top graduate programs and successful careers as both educators and performers.
