First Year Experience Program holds Time Management Workshop
The Office of First Year Experience recently hosted a Time Management Workshop in the James L. Bolden Campus Union Multipurpose Room. Mr. Roderick Martin, academic advisor in the Academic Student Support Center, was the presenter for the workshop.
“The workshop was designed to provide students with effective time management strategies,” stated Dr. White, director of the First Year Experience Program. “Time Management is not a way to make you work harder and longer, but a means to help you work smarter to accomplish your work more easily and rapidly.”
In an interview held after the workshop, James Walker, a freshman from Fayette, Mississippi, shared, “I am glad I attended the Workshop as we have gained some valuable information that will help us focus on improving our time management.”
