The outreach component includes publications, development of educational materials and training, creation of reading/resource rooms, and presenting at national conferences and state meetings. The Policy Center participates in outreach sessions to —

1. Increase awareness of the National Policy Research Center and its mission to facilitate cooperation from farmers during data collection for Policy Center sponsored research.

  1. Communicate highlights from Farm Bill sections impacting farmers & ranchers to share recommendations developed by the Policy Center and submitted to the Congressional Black Caucus and the House and Senate Agriculture Committees for inclusion in future Farm Bills.
