Alcorn mourns the loss of student Mondarius Trotter

Alcorn State University mourns the loss of Mondarius Trotter, who was an animal science major in the University’s School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences.

Trotter, a Pachuta, Mississippi native, recently participated in an internship with Cargill in East St. Louis, Missouri. Trotter also served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force.

Funeral arrangements will be held Friday, July 30, at John the Baptist Church, located on 501 County Road 290 in Pachuta. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., and the funeral service will start at 11 a.m.

The University sends its heartfelt condolences to the Trotter family.
