SMARThinking Online Tutorial
The Newtie J. Boyd Student Academic Support Center would like to announce the launching of SMARThinking-Online Tutoring. SMARThinking provides 24/7 access to highly trained online tutors who help students improve their problem-solving and writing skills and help them strengthen their content mastery.
The tutors are highly qualified and highly trained and led by former educators and experts in each of their disciplines and subjects. Many tutors are college faculty and practicing professionals with ongoing, firsthand knowledge of their subject areas. The available subjects are as follows:

-Connect with an e-structor and interact with a live tutor when you have a question
-Submit your writing for any class to the Online Writing Lab and receive feedback from a tutor usually within 24 hours
-Submit a question and a tutor will reply usually within 24 hours
To request online tutorial support via SMARThinking, call 601.877.3968 or via email at [email protected] for an online ASU account number to access this resource. The ASU account number is good for up to 300 minutes this semester. Additional minutes can be added to the account number as necessary. Participating students will also have access to archives of each of their SMARThinking tutoring sessions. Archives can be used to review the content of a tutoring session or as the starting point for follow-up sessions with a tutor.
