Alcorn sponsors Friday Forums in Natchez
Through a partnership with the Natchez-Adams County Chamber of Commerce and Natchez Coffee Company, Alcorn State University provides a weekly forum for community conversation. Each Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. the communities around Natchez and Adams County are invited to visit, listen, and discuss timely topics.
Most recently the Friday Forums have discussed topics such as Mission Mississippi, home health and hospice, economic development in southwest Mississippi, Black History Month and others. Upcoming Fridays will bring information on Mississippi Broadband Education Initiative, film-making in Mississippi, leadership Natchez and recycling.
