First Year Experience Program holds Choosing a Major/Career Preparation Workshop

The Office of First Year Experience hosted a Choosing a Major/Career Preparation Workshop on Monday, February 13, 2012, in the Math and Science Auditorium. Ms. Addie Davis, academic advisor in the Newtie J. Boyd Academic Student Support Center was the presenter for the workshop.
“The workshop was designed to provide first year students with important information on how to implement a career plan and how to help connect careers with majors,” stated Dr. White, director of the First Year Experience Program.

The First Year Experience Program is designed with new students in mind and carries the experience of orientation throughout the year. “Drive – the road is yours! Which direction will you take?” is the theme that has been adopted for all freshmen workshops sponsored by the Office of First Year Experience.
