Alcorn State University extends its heartfelt condolences and prayers to our sister institutions and the families of the two students who loss their lives to tragic gun violence last night. We share in their sadness and offer the full support of all available university resources.
Alcorn values our campus community as a safe place and reminds all of our students, parents, faculty, and staff to continue their awareness. We will heighten our vigilance as a key protective measure to help reduce risks on our campus and work immediately to review our current practices, policies and programs to ensure we are operating in excellence.
