Alcorn’s Extension Program to host “A Holiday Affair Expo”

The Alcorn State University Extension Program (ASUEP) and the Claiborne County Extension Office will host their annual “A Holiday Affair Expo” on Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Claiborne County Multi-Purpose Building, 1703 Bridewell Lane, Port Gibson, Mississippi.

At the Expo, vendors will provide information on educational services, and keynote speakers will discuss financial management and health and wellness. Free giveaways and door prizes will be available.

“Last year we had over 100 participants and we look forward to a growth in attendance this year,” said Expo Chair Tarsha Bell. “We invite everyone to participate as there will be a surplus of information both fun and educational for the community.”

The event is free and open to the public. There will be breakout sessions for high school juniors and seniors, as well as adults. Lunch will be served.
