12 Alcorn animals steal the show in Natchez
Alcorn animals steal the show in Natchez
When Alcorn’s miniature horses and alpacas arrived to Natchez on Saturday, December 15, there was a crowd of children anxiously awaiting for them.
For the second year in a row, the animals from Alcorn’s School of Agriculture, Research, Extension and Applied Sciences (AREAS) have made the trip to the bluff in Natchez to be a part of Family Weekend at the annual Christmas celebration. The animals managed to steal the hearts of young and old, and lots of “oohs” and “ahhs” along with yummy treats. Petting the animals was only part of the fun as families also had a chance to engage in ice skating, bouncing, games and snacking.
Special thanks go to the School of AREAS and the Educational and Community Partnerships staff for sharing the Alcorn spirit and joy with families of the Miss-Lou area during this holiday season.
