Alcorn State University A-Club Announces 2013 Hall of Fame Class

The Alcorn State University A-Club will hold its annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, at the Vicksburg Convention Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The Hall of Fame honors individuals who have promoted and served the University through its athletic programs. It recognizes former student-athletes, coaches, and supporters who have contributed to the success of Alcorn State University on and off the field and courts. Inductees will also be acknowledged at the Alcorn State -vs- Alabama A&M pregame activities at the Spinks/Casem Stadium in Lorman on Saturday November, 2, 2013. Kick-off is at 4:00 p.m.

This year’s inductees include: George Cole ’72 -Football; Edward Davis ’66-Baseball; Elbert Foules, Jr ’07-Football; James Horton ’79-Basketball; Gertrude Payton ’50-Basketball; Carlton Reese’59-Football; Michael Reese ’86-Football; Kalvin Robinson ’98-Football; Charles Ruth ’67-Track; and Louis White-Football.
