Mississippi Bishop to share the Easter story at Alcorn

As a part of the Mississippi Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, Bishop James E. Swanson is slated to speak at the historic Oakland Memorial Chapel of Alcorn State University for the ASU Wesley Foundation’s Easter story service, “The Hope of Easter”.

The service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., and will consist of singing, drama and The Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion).

A reception will follow the service at the ASU Wesley Foundation Building for fellowship and mingling.
