Alcorn featured as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution HBCU of the Week
Alcorn State University’s commitment to excellence continues to reach those outside of Mississippi.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) selected the University as their AJC Sepia HBCU of the Week. The AJC Sepia HBCU of the Week is an occasional series that looks at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. In their feature, Alcorn’s history, academic success and future plans are highlighted. Alcorn President Dr. Alfred Rankins Jr. is also featured on the website.
The AJC is the only major daily newspaper in the metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia. It is the flagship publication of Cox Enterprises. The AJC is the result of the merger between The Atlanta Journal and The Atlanta Constitution.
