Tickets for the 12th Annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge available now
It’s time for Alcorn State University Braves football fans to support their back-to-back Southwestern Athletic Conference Champions by purchasing tickets to one of next season’s biggest games.
Tickets for the 12th Annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge between the Alcorn Braves and Bethune-Cookman University Wildcats of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference are available on www.ticketmaster.com and www.meacswacchallenge.com. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 800-745-3000. Ticket prices are $25 and $35 plus applicable fees and taxes. The game will be played at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida and will be televised on ESPN Sunday, Sept. 4 at 1 p.m. ET.
The yearly event, which features teams from two prominent Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), will bring fans to Daytona Beach over Labor Day Weekend for the start of college football season. Offering more than just a game, the weekend’s events also include a high school career seminar and pep rally featuring Alcorn’s Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite and Bethune-Cookman’s Marching Wildcats.
Fans traveling to the game can enjoy a special $135/night rate at the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort/Ocean Walk Village, which is serving as the host hotel.
