Alcorn Extension hosts 2017 Holiday Affair Events

Alcorn State University Extension Program will host its 2017 Holiday Affair events Wednesday, November 1, at 10 a.m. at the Vicksburg City Auditorium, 901 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, MS and Wednesday, November 15, at 10 a.m. at the Claiborne County Multi-purpose Building, 1703 Bridewell Lane, Port Gibson, MS.

The events will offer highlights and information on: holiday safety; how to decorate on a budget; healthier lifestyle practices for the holidays; free giveaways, door prizes, and more. Dr. Martha Ravola, interim chair, Department of Human Sciences will present on, “A Healthy Family Season.”

These events are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
