Miss Alcorn, Kristina Brown, hopes to become one of Ebony Magazine’s top 10 HBCU Campus Queen
Reigning Miss Alcorn State University, Kristina Brown, is in the running to represent the university on a big stage, as she solicits votes to become one of Ebony Magazine’s top campus queens.
Brown is one of several campus queens from historically black colleges and universities from around the nation competing in Ebony Magazine’s HBCU Campus Queens Contest. The magazine will select the top 10 campus queens to represent their schools in the online competition. Voters are allowed three votes a day. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20.
Being one of the contestants is an honor for Brown. She hopes to become one of the finalists so that she can display the greatness that Alcorn has to offer.
“It would be an honor to represent Alcorn on a national platform,” said Brown. “Being named one of Ebony’s campus queens would show that I have the ability to serve and bring positive attention to the university.”
