Alcorn State University continues to gain recognition as one of the country’s top HBCUs, according to an online college ranking system.
Niche ranks Alcorn no. 2 on its 2025 Best HBCU Schools in America list. The University has moved up from No. 3 in last year’s rankings. Alcorn is the only Mississippi HBCU ranked in its top five.
