Acceptance into the Myrlie Evers-Williams Honors Program is competitive and based on the outlined requirements.
Furthermore, retention in the program is contingent upon this agreement and satisfactory and timely progress.
- Students entering the program after the first semester of the freshman year are selected on the basis of their cumulative grade point average and the written recommendations of two faculty members.
- The required average for second-semester freshmen, sophomores, and juniors is 3.00 and above. Seniors must have achieved an average of 3.25 or above for satisfactory completion of the program.
