11th Annual Science and Engineering Fair & Competition
Dear Alcorn Family:
Saturday Science Academy is looking for volunteers to serve as judges at its 11th Annual Science and Engineering Fair & Competition, Saturday, January 28, 2012, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., E. E. Simmons Gymnasium. 5th-9th grade students enrolled in the ASU Saturday Science Academy program will present their best efforts in the sciences and mathematics. This will be the foundation event for those who will compete in the local, regional and state competitions. You can be assured that your valuable input as an evaluator is important encouragement for these young students as they achieve at each level. Last year, many won recognition and scholarships for their exceptional work.
If you were able to participate as a judge last year, we welcome you back! If this will be your first experience as a judge, we encourage you to make the commitment!
All materials and rules will be given to you at a briefing before the judging begins. You can review the tentative agenda for the fair here.
