Alcorn State University Incubator Tech Center

A new and attractive classroom and office setting for training, meetings, and operating a small business is currently opened for business in the Natchez downtown area. Alcorn State University’s Incubator Tech Center, located at 300 Franklin Street, is operated by the Department of Advanced Technologies, and is managed by Mr. Allen Terrell.

“The Center is designed to help prospective entrepreneurs or start-up companies, as well as established businesses that may need assistance with getting to the next level of their operations,” said Terrell. “There are a total of six office spaces to rent to clients and the offices vary in size and cost. Each office is wired for Internet and telephone, and a wireless connection to the Internet is also available.”

Classroom settings with a capacity for 40 people are also available for lease. They can be used for training, conferences, off-site meetings, real estate closings, video conferencing, depositions and more. A large format display monitor with wireless Internet connections is available in each conference/training room. Catering is available from area downtown restaurants.

The fundamental objectives of the Center are to provide information technology and technical assistantship to improve start-up and struggling businesses for economic stability and resilience in Southwest region.
Operating hours for the Tech Center conference/training rooms are 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and management is available from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
