Paulette Haley is from Fayette, Mississippi. She currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and a Master of Science degree in guidance and counseling both from Alcorn State University.

Future Plans: To priestly work and guide students here at Alcorn as they continue to complete their academics and pursue their goals.

Personal goal(s): To retire from Alcorn, travel and spend time with my family.

Favorite memory of your job: Becoming an employee of Alcorn in 2004.

Funniest memory of your job: I unknowingly wore my blouse on the wrong side all day.

What do you enjoy the most about working for Alcorn? Meeting new students and having them tell me that I have helped them in some way.

Most memorable thing you’ve learned from a college student: You have to be real with them to earn their trust.

Most memorable thing you’ve learned from faculty/staff member: Always say what you mean and there will never be confusion.

Piece of advice for college students: Stay focused on your academics and make good choices in life.
