Internal Audit welcomes Tiffany Terrell
Vicksburg native Tiffany Terrell has high hopes of being a valuable asset to Alcorn State.
“I plan to help out in what ever way I possibly can. I don’t mind taking that extra step, especially for our school. I want to make sure that things are done right,” said Terrell.
Terrell was hired as the new administrative assistant in the Office of Internal Audit. Terrell will handle the secretarial duties of the office.
The Office of Internal Audit carries out audits directed by IHL, monitors university control, and conduct fraud and embezzlement investigations.
Prior to Terrell being hired on Alcorn’s main campus, she was the employment interviewer at The Win Job Center in Vicksburg. She received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications in 2001 and her master’s degree in elementary education in 2003 from Alcorn State University.
Terrell is excited about her new job and all that comes with it.
“I am really enjoying this position. This job involves everything that happens on campus.”
Director of Internal Audit Permy Thuha is pleased with the commitment Terrell has shown on her job.
“Ms. Terrell is insightful, knowledgeable, willing to learn and above all, an exemplary employee. She has great potential and a bright future in her career,” said Thuha.
