Welcome Back from your 2014-15 SGA President and Miss Alcorn State University
Dear Students,
On behalf of your Student Government Association (SGA), we are pleased to welcome each of you back to Alcorn for another exciting academic year.
Your experiences on “The Yard” will help you to grow academically, individually, socially and emotionally. We invite you to contribute ideas and encourage participation in campus organizations and events; we urge you to set high goals for yourself; and take advantage of every opportunity, making the most of your time at Alcorn.
To kick the year off, SGA will host the official welcome week themed “Home at Last”. Welcome week begins Sunday, August 24, and is a great way to start your semester at Alcorn — simply show up and have fun! Click here for a list the activities we have planned for you.
As students, you are an important part of the Alcorn family. And as representatives of the student body, we are here to serve you.
