The School of Agriculture, Research, Extension and Applied Sciences to host alumni informational sessions
The School of Agriculture, Research, Extension, and Applied Sciences will be hosting three departmental alumni information sessions to inform alumni of current departmental updates, future expectations, and how they can help in these efforts.
“The purpose of the sessions is to actively engage alumni in the departments so that they can be aware of opportunities to donate to worthy causes at Alcorn,” said Dr. Gwendolyn D. Lucas, who is the coordinator for the events.
The scheduled informational sessions are: Saturday, September 19, Eunice Powell building; Saturday, November 7, Morris/Boykins Agricultural Science building; Saturday, November 21, Simmons Industrial Technology building. All informational sessions will begin at 8:30 a.m.
A meet and greet reception will be held Friday before each Saturday session at 5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, located on 115 Cypress Centre Blvd. in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
