Alcorn plans to revive the Homecoming teepee challenge

Students at Alcorn State University are bringing back one of its homecoming traditions.

The Class of 2016 will host a teepee challenge Monday, Oct. 12 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the campus green. The class is inviting all organizations to come and construct a creative teepee that will be on display for the entire 2015 Homecoming Week. The organization with the most creative teepee will receive a $50 cash prize Friday, Oct. 16 on behalf of Alcorn’s senior class.
