School of AREAS Host Welcome Back Celebration!
Join us Monday, October 26th at 5:30 p.m., as the School of Agriculture, Research, Extension, and Applied Sciences hosts its inaugural Welcome Back Celebration! The event will be held in the E.E. Simmons Gymnasium, according to LaShundra Ballard, student services coordinator.
The theme of this event is the School of Agriculture, Research, Extension, and Applied Sciences presents, "Fall into the Beat or Just Beat It!" Students are encouraged to dress in costumes that resemble the 70s, 80s, and 90s era. Student organizations will compete with each other during several activities (dance, costume, pumpkin carving, apple bobbing, bean bag toss, and basketball contests) in order to win an incentive from Dr. Ivory W. Lyles, dean and director of land-grant programs.
