Road resurfacing on Alcorn’s Lorman campus

Road resurfacing on Alcorn State University’s main campus has begun and is expected to be complete by June 1. Road maintenance will occur along ASU Drive and Research Drive. There may be traffic delays and lane closures.

The Alcorn community is advised to drive with caution, reduce speed and obey traffic signs while traveling on campus during the construction period.

Work on this project is funded by a $17.9 grant for the TRI-Mississippi project collaboration between Alcorn State, Claiborne, Franklin and Jefferson counties that will build bridges and repair roadways with support from the Department’s Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) 2014 program.
