Alcorn Extension to Host Homeownership Workshop

Are you tired of paying rent? Then attend the Alcorn State University Extension Program Homeownership Workshop July 20-21, 2016 from 5:15 to 8 p.m. at the Alcorn Vicksburg campus, 3505 Pemberton Square Blvd, Suite 5, Vicksburg, MS.

The Homeownership Workshop, sponsored by the School of Agriculture, Research, Extension, and Applied Sciences, will provide information on home buying and refinancing using the United States Department of Housing and Development (HUD) approved homeownership program. To be eligible for the HUD housing program, participants must attend both workshops.

“The workshops will provide details on how hardworking families are able to purchase a home with incredible terms and a below market interest rate,” said Tonitrice Wicks, Extension community resource development educator. “The workshop will include details on programs that offer no down payment, no closing costs, below market interest rate and much more for people with or without perfect credit scores.”

For more details or to register for the two-day workshop, contact Tonitrice Wicks, at 601-857-3242 ext. 4120 or [email protected] or Leslie Walker, administrative assistant, at 601-857-3242 ext. 4120 or [email protected].
