Cassandra Wilder invited to The American Marketing Association’s 2017 Winter Conference

Alcorn State University’s Cassandra Wilder has been invited to lend her expertise in editing scholarly journals at The American Marketing Association’s 2017 Winter Conference.

Wilder, who serves as a policy research analyst for the Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers Policy Research Center at Alcorn, will be the manuscript reviewer at the conference that is scheduled to be in Orlando, Florida, Feb. 17, 2017. Her duties will include making sure the author(s) understand existing literature and whether the conclusion is consistent with the findings. She will also have to examine the quality of the manuscript and provide relevant feedback on how to improve the quality of the manuscript.

Wilder looks forward to representing the University at the conference.

“I am very excited about this opportunity,” said Wilder. “Being a manuscript reviewer helps me to continue fine tuning my skills as a policy research analyst, as well as exposing me to a diverse pool of research studies completed by my peers. It is truly an honor to represent Alcorn State University.”

The American Marketing Association is a professional association for marketing professionals.
