Ag High School Day, April 12
The School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences will host its 2nd annual Ag High School Day on Wednesday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to Casnacita S. Gray, student services coordinator.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Extension and Research Complex.
High schools from across the state as well as various parishes within Louisiana have been invited to attend.
“This open house event is designed to help students recognize and consider careers in agriculture and applied sciences. Also, it’s to help inspire students to focus and make the connection between academics and career preparation as well as highlight the many opportunities afforded to them,” says Gray.
