Morrill Act 155th Anniversary
President Abraham Lincoln signed into law on July 2, 1862, the Morrill Act that allowed for the creation of the Land-Grant colleges in the United States and the beginning of the Land-Grant University System. NIFA celebrates our land-grant university partners and our long history.
