Lollis receives MS Farm Bureau Scholarship

Marko Lollis, a Junior at Alcorn State University majoring in plant and soil science, has been selected to receive the Mississippi Farm Bureau Leaders in Agriculture Scholarship from the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers & Ranchers. This scholarship was based on his academic interest in agriculture, his two submitted essays, community service and recommendations from leaders in the community. USDA 1890 Liaison at Alcorn State University Michael Trusclair has been Lollis mentor and Lollis has just completed an internship in Minnesota with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). He is the grandson of Wilkinson County Farm Bureau members Ernest and Beulah Lollis of Fort Adams.
