School to Host Student Career Development Mixer

Thursday, October 19 at 5:30 p.m., a Student Career Development Mixer will be held in the Ray Johnson Assembly Center of the Research & Extension Complex.

According to Dr. Gwendolyn L. Gordon, director of alumni and staff development, students will have an opportunity to meet and greet the department chairs, as well as an opportunity to hear departmental updates.

“Students will have an opportunity to meet the Dean and Director of Land-Grant Programs, Dr. Edmund Buckner, as well as Michael C. Trusclair, United States Department of Agriculture 1890 Program Liaison, who oversees the placement of students in internship positions. Students will also hear from their peers regarding their experiences with the School and internships,” she said.

During the event, light refreshments will be served, compliments of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS), a student organization.
