First and Second Year Experience Program to host Lunch and Learn Discussion

Alcorn State University’s First and Second Year Experience Program is gearing up to equip current freshmen for a successful sophomore year.

The Program will host the Sophomore Year Experience Leadership Round Table Lunch and Learn Discussion Wednesday, April 4 in the J. D. Boyd Medgar Wiley Evers Library Auditorium at 1 p.m.

The purpose of the discussion is for freshmen to explore options for success that the University provides for students matriculating on campus. Topics will range from choosing the right major, community service participation, academic advisor meetings, pursuing internships, study abroad programs and much more.
